I've been learning Godot recently and made a little incremental game to start off with, in a similar vein to Voredev's Tumagotchi or J3DGTS's Voragochi.

Feed her, numbers go up, repeat. Upgrades unlock as you go based on the number of humans eaten. Reaching the end of the game takes about an hour. The game doesn't support saving.

This is tentatively the final version of the game.

YAIVG is open source under the GPL-3.0-or-later license. The legalese around software licensing feels dumb for a project this small, but I want to let people fuck around with this if they want. Whether that be as a way to learn Godot like it was for me or by making and distributing your own version if you want to develop this beyond what I'm planning to do. I'm just not a fan of cuck licenses permissive licenses like MIT or Apache. I am not an experienced developer and this is the first game I've finished making in Godot, so don't expect my code to be good.

Install instructions

The Linux and Windows versions are portable and do not need to be installed. I have not tested the Windows version on an actual Windows install, but it worked fine when I ran it with Wine on Linux.

Finished the game. It was short but fun. Plan on making more content for this game? Or maybe make another game?
